I am Roberta Giulia Amidani, class of 1976, the third daughter of Emma and Flaviano, sister of Marisa and Cecilia Jones, mother of Giovanni, wife of Davide, companion of a cat and a wolf-dog.

I am a monomaniacal aesthete of language invented to serve certain specific purposes*.

In 2013, I founded loscrittorefantasma.com and, since then, to feed the world and make it happy, I study and write. All day long. Every day. Almost always on assignment. Often in the shadows.

Since 2019 I have been one of the Sides of LATO, a Benefit company that helps companies design a better, more open and sustainable, safer, happier future by guiding them in innovation.

Who I am and what I do

I am a FUTURIST: a biological intelligence that is trying to make the world a better place with words.
I help people turn their ideas into projects and their projects into prototypes to be tested.
As a (book) designer, ghostwriter, and/or editor, I have worked on more than 145 books in less than 11 years.
I use scientific formulas, instructions, and rigorous procedures to achieve the best results.
I use progress – including AI – to progress as a human being.
I am always willing to challenge my certainties.

What I believe in

I believe in relationships, connections, and human complexity.
I believe in science, relativity, and statistics. Occasionally I also believe in magic.
I believe in the power of stories as the engine of human innovation. Good stories, well told, are the engine of our growth as human beings and as a species.
I believe in the surface as a mirror of the deep, and in form as a medium of substance.
I am always happy to change my mind.
I always believe in kindness.

Since 2013, I have delivered more than 8 million words (+50 million characters) helping to design the futures of my clients and the world.

2019 saw the release of the mystery novel “The Sense of Guilt ” which I co-authored alongside Mauro Lena.
